The purpose of this Practice is to establish structural design criteria for new blast resistant buildings, including requirements for selection of structural systems, analysis methods, and design of ancillary items such as doors and openings. This Practice also contains design criteria for non-structural items (architectural, electrical, HVAC, etc.) that may influence the design of blast resistant buildings.
