1.1This specification covers the requirements for commercial wrought nonferrous nuts 0.250 to 1.500 in. inclusive in diameter in a number of alloys in common use and intended for general service applications.

1.2Applicable bolts, cap screws, and studs for use with nuts covered by this specification are covered by Specification F468.

1.3The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard.
