Specifies safety requirements for material, construction and design, including dimensions. Requirements for toys, if these are included with the cots, are also specified. The safety and performance of cots are established by a number of tests specified in the Appendices. Information which is to be supplied to the purchaser regarding assembly, maintenance, the maximum weight of child and the recommended mattress size is also specified.
