1. Editorial changes to clarify requirements, update references, and the addition of new glossary terms;
2. Addition of new test requirements for secondary circuits, tests for motors, abnormal conditions of control equipment, flexing test, absorption of moisture grounding circuit resistance, internal enclosure push test, component push test, knockout test, and leakage current test;
3. New marking and instruction requirements; and
4. New Supplement A (Electrochemical Potentials), Supplement B (Flammability Tests), and Supplement C (Leakage Current Test Instrument).
These requirements cover electrical equipment used for the control and monitoring of flammable liquid and LP-Gas dispensing devices and related delivery systems, rated 600 volts or less. Such control equipment is intended to be installed in ordinary locations in accordance with the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70.
